Airport Operations & Air Traffic Control

This module explains how airports function safely on the ground and in controlled airspace. Students first learn about airport layouts, including runways, taxiways, aprons, and terminals (30 mins). This is followed by an introduction to Air Traffic Control, explaining its purpose and role in managing aircraft movement (25 mins). Students then learn basic aviation communication, including standard pilot radio calls (25 mins), and finally understand safety zones and aircraft handling protocols, which are especially important for safe RC flying operations (20 mins).
