Practical Training Components

Hands-on simulator and RC flight training to develop safe, confident flying skills.

The practical training component provides students with structured, hands-on flying experience through a combination of simulator practice and real RC aircraft operations. Training begins with simulator flying sessions lasting 3–5 hours, allowing students to develop control familiarity, orientation, and basic maneuvering skills in a safe and controlled environment. This is followed by RC aircraft ground handling training of 1 hour, where students learn essential pre-flight checks, safe handling procedures, and basic operational discipline. Students then participate in assisted RC flight training under instructor control, with 30–45 minutes allocated per student, ensuring guided exposure to real flight while maintaining safety at all times. Based on individual skill level and instructor assessment, students may be offered an optional solo flight attempt of 10–20 minutes, providing an opportunity to demonstrate confidence and control under supervision.
